You might want to clear your schedule on May 27 and 28 because PARKSHOW 2016presented by CF Chinook Centre is giving Calgary a taste of Miami with two unique runway shows featuring 15 emerging designers. Organized by PARK (Promoting Artists, Redefining Kulture), PARKSHOW gives these designers a venue to show off and sell their work, and all profits from ticket sales go towards helping to promote and educate Canada’s fashion design talent.
The show on Friday, May 27 will feature lineups of summery, casual looks while Saturday will showcase couture fashions. Dior and PARK will be taking over the court in front of Nordstrom to provide a backstage experience with makeup appointments for the public on the days of the shows and guests can get hair touch-ups from Hedkandi Salon and Johnny’s Barber + Shop at the show.
