A variety of sketches are laid out on the floor of Paul Hardy’s studio that are stapled with swatches of fabric as the designer plans out his collection for ParkLUXE 2016.
Hardy is just one several Canadian designers who will be featured in ParkLUXE 2016, an experimental fashion show on Oct. 1 that will be making its home this year at the National Music Centre in an effort to infuse both live music and fashion.
“It’s largely done in shades of navy, pewter and kind of a merlot colour, and then there’s lots of embellishment of Swarovski crystals” said Hardy, who added that his collection will be segueing into a spring line inspired by a biblical story about a woman who turns into a pillar of salt.
